Axiom

Allen Farrington and Matt Kita.

Fund Size

Raising roughly $50M for its second venture fund, with around 19 investments made to date.

Thesis

A Bitcoin-native corporate finance and venture firm. Axiom invests in Bitcoin infrastructure at the pre-seed and seed stages, and it underwrites every deal using Bitcoin itself as the cost of capital. That discipline filters hard for businesses that can actually outperform simply holding Bitcoin, rather than dressing up a mediocre startup with a Bitcoin narrative.

Portfolio

Voltage, AnchorWatch, Ark Labs, Blockspaces, Alby, Alpen Labs, IBEX, Synota, Heatbit, CoinCorner, and The Bitcoin Company, among others, with some investments still in stealth.

Why It Matters

Axiom pairs a deep technical understanding of Bitcoin and the layered protocols being built on top of the asset, from Lightning to newer scaling designs like Ark, with real traditional finance experience. That combination lets the firm judge both whether a technology actually works at the protocol level and whether the business built around it can stand on its own economically.
