BitGo is acquiring NYDIG's institutional trading business, roughly 30 employees plus the client book, for a reported $42.5 million, extending a custody franchise into derivatives and financing. Tokenized equities are arriving unevenly: the tokenized version of GLD traded near $2,000 on Robinhood over the weekend against roughly $400 for the underlying, and Robinhood's own chain now produces more revenue than any Ethereum layer two.
