The TLDR:

BitGo is acquiring NYDIG's institutional trading business, roughly 30 employees plus the client book, for a reported $42.5 million, extending a custody franchise into derivatives and financing. Russia's largest bank is moving to accept Bitcoin, Ethereum, and USDT as loan collateral, and forecasts $46 billion of regulated crypto exchange trading in the first year under the country's new rules, making a sanctioned and energy rich sovereign the first to recollateralize openly. The SEC has sent an overhaul of crypto custody rules for investment advisers to the White House, an agency workaround with the Clarity Act stalled. Tokenized equities are arriving unevenly: the tokenized version of GLD traded near $2,000 on Robinhood over the weekend against roughly $400 for the underlying, and Robinhood's own chain now produces more revenue than any Ethereum layer two. NVIDIA agreed to buy Hugging Face for $12.9 billion.
